Privacy

To understand how the website is used, we measure visits with PostHog, hosted in the European Union. Without your consent this happens without cookies or any identifier stored in your browser (only your answer to the cookie notice, and whether you last asked ChatGPT or Claude about a residence, are remembered there): we see which pages are visited and what is clicked. To tell visits apart, PostHog derives an anonymous identifier from your IP address and browser that changes every day, so visits on different days are not linked. If you accept cookies, PostHog also remembers your browser between visits and records how pages are used, with everything you type into forms hidden. When you send an enquiry, PostHog learns only its general shape: the residence, what you are interested in, how you prefer to be answered, whether you gave a phone number and the length of your message. Your name, email address, phone number and message are never sent to PostHog. No advertising pixels are used. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page; declining deletes the PostHog cookie and stored identifier.

Enquiries

When you send an enquiry, we store the details you give us (your name, email address, phone number if given, the residence and your message) together with the date and the note you agreed to when sending, and a coded form of your IP address that only serves to stop misuse of the form. They are kept in a database operated for us by Neon on servers in Frankfurt, Germany, and are used by Haute Living Estate only. We also receive them by email, sent for us by Resend, so that we can answer you.

So that we can see where the enquiry form is unclear, what you type into it is also saved while you write, even if you do not send it, in the same database. Each visit keeps one such draft, which we use only to improve the form, and never to contact you. It is not shown again when you come back.

We use these details to answer your enquiry and arrange any viewing. As noted beside the send button, we may also keep in touch from time to time about residences that may interest you. We do not sell your details or pass them on to others for their own marketing.

If you would rather not hear from us again, a short note is enough and we will stop. You may also ask at any time what we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted, by writing to m.hollinger@bluewin.ch.
